“…provides so much heat reduction that the swimming pool chilled down so much that we had to install solar heating. … So far, winds at 24 mph barely made the sails move.”

“This is been up for over 6 months and it's been really wonderful to provide a place to work out of the Florida Sun.”

“The fact it has a steel wire around the perimeter makes it strong and reliable, especially for a large shade like this, 16x20.”

“The beige color looks great in my backyard… once it was tightened up, it made a noticeable difference in the amount of heat and direct sunlight on my patio.”

“I had it for two weeks (very rainy and windy two weeks) and it's holding good so far.”

“It's thicker, sturdier, it stays taut in the breeze that kicks up every afternoon… it blocks a lot of sun and keeps the balcony so much cooler.”

“This is my second year using it from April - September in the PNW… No fraying, grommets solid and intact.”

“They look great, the fit is dead-on (my biggest worry—I measured multiple times and then re-measured multiple times before selecting a size).”
“Make sure you account for the fact that the fabric will stretch. I would recommend buying a little smaller than the area you are trying to cover so you can get it pulled tight.”
Daniel · Standard Shade Sail“Because of the size I had to use some heavy duty attachments to our home and the building, so make sure … your anchor points are very strong.”
Bob · Super Ring Shade Sail“We used 1/8 inch stainless steel cable with heavy carabiners and turnbuckles during installation. It required a ratchet strap to get it tight enough.”

FAQ
Questions, Answered
Measure the distance between your anchor points, then allow space for hardware so the sail can be tensioned. Our How to Measure guide walks you through it.
Standard and Super Ring fabrics are breathable, so rain passes through. Waterproof sails shed rain — install them at an angle so water runs off instead of pooling.
Shade sails are not designed for storms. Take your sail down before high winds or severe weather.
Use a hardware kit with turnbuckles at each corner so you can tension the sail. Our kits are stainless steel with a lifetime warranty.
Custom sizes are made to order and can’t be returned unless defective. Please double-check your measurements, or contact us before ordering.
Rinse with water and mild soap, let it dry fully before storing, and avoid bleach.
