I like the quality of this shade, the fact it has a steel wire around the perimeter makes it strong and reliable, especially for a large shade like this, 16x20. I installed it using sailboat halyard design with rope and a pulley so I can easily take it down when needed.
The super ring shade sails (16’x22’ & 20’x20’x20’) that we put up provides so much heat reduction that the swimming pool chilled down so much that we had to install solar heating. We used 1/8 inch stainless steel cable with heavy carabiners and turnbuckles during installation. It required a ratchet strap to get it tight enough. This is a great value for the price.It’s a very impressive shade, the neighbors as well as the painters working at our house were very interested in adding it to their property. It is literally a game changer in the backyard, now it’s comfortable to be out in the middle of the day around the pool at 90 degrees. Due to the high winds in our area, I installed it so that it could be cut down quickly. So far, winds at 24 mph barely made the sails move.One corner of the rectangle shade had a small hole. Shade Mart customer service responded quickly and we have a new replacement on the way.
This is a top notch product. Fabric is great. The eyelets are sturdy. I can see myself having this for years.
Product looks to be great and I would give less stars but I feel it's a simple thing that yhe seller will be glad to fix. After installation this weekend I noticed a small hole in the middle. There is no way you would see this before installation. Hopefully I will be able to get this resolved, since I spent more to get better quality.
Because of the size I had to use some heavy duty attachments to our home and the building, so make sure when you install one of these at your anchor points are very strong. This is been up for over 6 months and it's been really wonderful to provide a place to work out of the Florida Sun.

Last year I bought a cheaper sun sail. Well, that sail didn't last a year. It was cheaply made. HOWEVER, I found this Sun Sade Sail and I am so pleased with the heavy duty construction and thick material. Take my advice and spend the money on quality sun shades. If you purchase this sun sail, you will not be disappointed. My only 2 complaints are that I prefer white sun sails, which wasn't in stock, and the wires are to short, as well. Minor inconveniences for a great product.

This is our 2nd one like this. First one last 2 years which is about right in Southeast Texas where the sun and weather take such a toll on things. We have it over our pool and it is wonderful. It provides shade, allows the water to drain and stands up to the winds. We can swim at any time of the day and get out of the sun.
Bought these years ago and held up until last summer. Which may not seem like long but in South Carolina direct sun that is definitely impressive. Will be buying again

I purchased a 10 x 28 heavy duty shade sail with the super rings. It’s been up for 4 days now and gone through 2 pretty serious thunderstorms. I was concerned how it would hold up and I’m pleased to say it’s done great. It does sag a bit when the rain is really coming down, but once it dries it goes right back to its taught self. I’m hoping it will last for many years.

Happy with the tarp, strong sturdy corners and excellent shade protection, filters water just as mentioned, it rained all day here in Florida and the tarp did not sagged.
The wire around the perimeter of the shade is a game-changer. It wakes the shade much stronger and works much better than the last shade I tried that did not have the same reinforcement.
Hung the shade up at the start of summer and have had no problem with it. Be sure to have your connection points solid!

Well made shade sail. Loved the D rings and the cable sewn in the entire perimeter. I'm using this to provide shade for my livestock outside their barn. I had bought an inferior shade sail last fall (still using on the other side of the barn), but I can tell that this one will last longer and can be stretched much better.
You need at least 120 lbs. tension to set it up, meaning it takes that much force to pull all the steel cables fully into the edges (borders). I was amazed the stainless-steel wall ring screws didn't pull out, but they held. I feel it's necessary to make sure, before buying any of these sails, there aren't big loops of wire sticking out of the corners of these, otherwise it's hard to install without a powerful winch and super-strong anchors.
I ordered 22' x 22' x 22', what I received was 20' x 21.5' x 22.5' I measured the sail before installing my poles, otherwise it would have been a return and a waste of time.
This is super sturdy and does a great job at providing shadow. Not only that, if angled at more than 15 degrees it will get rid of most of the rain water, given you provide it a corner to run to. Some minor splatter will go through as drops fall (inertia) since it is not fully water proof, nor it needs to be. It will take significant wind and incredible amounts of weight! Long story short: Installed it April 1st in Massachusetts, just to have an ice and snow storm 3 days later. The bend in the center was devastating and I though it would never go back to its original form. I was wrong! As soon as the ice melted and dripped away, the sail went back to its original shape. Great product. Sturdy and reliable. Recommended!
This is a high quality and durable shade for the price point. Install is moderately easy assuming you already have something to install it to in the air. I found the posts needed to put it up the hardest part of the install. The way the wire is run across the edge really helps stabilize the shade as well which is a nice touch.
This is perfect for outdoor spaces that need a little extra shade. I love the color, it doesn’t fade in the desert sun, it’s also made of an extremely durable material that has now allowed us two summers worth of uses.
